Building Full-Stack Apps MVPs in No Time (Live Stream Edition)
AI is here to take the grunt work off your hands. From Code Gen tools to AI App Builders—your MVP just got easier!
A year ago, building a full-stack app meant hours of coding, debugging, and head-scratching. Now?
It’s a whole new world.
AI is here to take the grunt work off your hands.
With code generation tools like Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, or the newly launched Windsurf by Codeium, you can speed up your coding workflows dramatically.
Or, skip the heavy lifting entirely with AI app builders like Databutton, Bolt.new, or Replit Agent, which let you create full-stack MVPs using natural language.

This Week’s Experiment
During a live stream with my colleague, Viral Shah (Databutton's co-founder), we built a cool app: PDF to Smart Notes.
The app takes PDFs, extracts text with AI, and generates actionable sticky notes—all in a matter of minutes. Here’s a glimpse of the tech stack Databutton used while building the app;
Backend: FastAPI routers for seamless APIs.

Databutton generated three Python backends for building this MVP. Essentially in Databutton, backends are Fast API routers.
Frontend: React.js with ShadCN and TypeScript for a modern UI.

Databutton generated this backend with a single prompt. Watch the video to see the entire app functionality.
One-click Deployment — The app was deployed with just one click within the Databutton’s infra.
This level of simplicity is what makes Databutton stand out.
A process that used to take weeks is now a live-stream experiment—and it works.

Can’t end without sharing some cool news I came across this week,
ChatGPT for macOS can now work with apps on desktop
ChatGPT 🤝 VS Code, Xcode, Terminal, iTerm2
ChatGPT for macOS can now work with apps on your desktop. In this early beta for Plus and Team users, you can let ChatGPT look at coding apps to provide better answers.
